tech trait and a fair shadow
A baseball umpire that was in the awning shadow pulled his trouser
and he knew
to be it lowly expected that anyone would stand with him.
All the pitches had been thrown earlier yesterday;
all the crowd had had a seat and seen.
But one, two, three over and over again so damn with not even an exception
was suspicious;
A batter first cried, a batter second knelt appalled, the batter last lied:
“Well, at first my only feeling was hurt, but then
I took a breath and I tugged my testicular quandary,
I mixed up a jug of lemonade fresh,
and behold to my soul a sun was brightly shining.”
So the umpire stayed quietly fine alone neath the awning,
with an area shaded.
